Afterschool Arts Workshop for ages 10-12: Botanical Art and Collage, with Stephanie King

Presented by the Cultural Center of Cape Cod at our HyArts Campus on four Wednesdays beginning November 8, from 3-4pm. Join educator and artist, Stephanie King, for a fun and whimsical four-session nature collage workshop. Bring your creative ideas to life as you connect with nature. No experience necessary just bring your imagination and curiosity. The possibilities are endless when working with natural materials such as leaves, flowers, twigs, shells, and even pressed seaweed. Throughout the four weeks students will learn to press and preserve flowers in a flower press and to draw, color, paint, glue and print nature collages on paper and other natural surfaces.
