Beginning Knitting for Teens 13+ with Kirsten West

Presented by the Cultural Center of Cape Cod at the HyArts Programming Annex on four Saturdays beginning April 6, from 10am-12pm. Enjoy the relaxing, creative art of knitting! In this class students will learn the Continental/Scandinavian Method of knitting. Instructor will teach students how to cast on stitches, knit, purl, how to slip a stitch, yarn over, decrease and increase. Students will learn how to cable to the right and to the left and will learn how to bind off. There is a lot of one-on-one in this class as needed.
