Dinner and a Scary Movie with Chef Joe

Wed, Oct 30, 6-8pm. Join us this spooky season for a Romanian feast and the classic scary movie Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror. Made in 1922, this silent masterpiece featured Max Schreck as the vampire and paved the way for every horror flick to come. The menu will feature the classic foods of Romania. We will start with Tacana de ciuperci (wild mushroom soup), Scrumbie de peste (smoked seafood salad), Varza Calita (roast pork ribs with cabbage and dried cherries) and finish with Papanasi (semolina cake with forest fruit compote. We will be serving complimentary Hugo cocktails. This is a BYOB event and if you can find any Transylvanian wine, bring it along — if you dare! $75/$68 for members.
