Fantastic Painted Furniture: Decorative Painting with Nancy Frary

4 Tuesdays, Jan 14-Feb 4, from 1030am-1pm. Transform old unused pieces of furniture into works of art! If you can hold a paintbrush, you can master the methods used in this 4-week class with artist Nancy Frary. You'll use acrylic paints to learn a number of basic decorative painting techniques that will turn your piece into a unique expression of your creativity – it might even become an heirloom. Students will need one sanded and primed piece of small furniture – a small side table, chair, candlestick, frame, jewelry box or any other structurally sound wooden item of your choosing. $180/$162 for members.
