Nye Homestead 2019 Open House

The Benjamin Nye Homestead & Museum is excited to announce the date of our 2019 Annual Open House. Come celebrate the start of our summer season on Saturday, June 15 from 12:00 to 4:00 pm. This free event features genealogy consultations, wool spinning, quill writing, weaving, and rug hooking demonstrations. Learn something new about your town’s history by touring our idyllic property and 1678 colonial house museum. We are also pleased to announce the opening of the Nye Mill Museum, located inside a historic mill and devoted to the history of milling in Sandwich. The Benjamin Nye Homestead & Museum is dedicated to preserving Sandwich history through educational tours, historical preservation, and archival research.
