Sailor's Valentine Workshop

Wed, Jun 11, 9am-12pm. Sailor's Valentines were classic souvenirs favored by Nantucket whalemen in the 19th century. Join this fun one-day workshop with artist Helaine Buckley and make your own keepsake in this age-old shell crafting tradition. Choose from a variety of beautiful seashells to create a framed Sailor's Valentine in a small hexagonal shadowbox suitable for hanging. All materials will be provided.
