Sand, Sea & Sky, Beginning Plein-Air Painting, with Susan Overstreet

Presented by the Cultural Center of Cape Cod at our HyArts Programming Annex on three Mondays, beginning June 3, from 7:30-10:30am. This class is for those who have not had significant experience painting outdoors. Susan will teach you the basics, from what materials to bring, where to set up your easel for the best composition, and how to quickly capture the light from start to finish. Painting en plein air is challenging but the rewards are enormous for painters at all levels of experience. We will meet at various locations near the HyArts Programming Annex, focusing on the basic elements of nature on Cape Cod: sand, sea, and sky! Portable stools provided. $144/$126 member.
