Save Our Sound Webinar: The Tribal History of Nantucket Sound

Save Our Sound continues its FREE monthly webinar series, "A Celebration of Nantucket Sound" (ACONS) with a look at the tribal history of Nantucket Sound. George “Chuckie” Green, a conservation and environmental management expert, who has served as the Natural Resource Director for the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe will be our guest speaker for the evening. His years of community and legislative involvement include work with the Mashpee Conservation Commission, Waquoit Bay Estuarine Research Advisory Board, Cape Cod Conservation District, and as a Wampanoag representative to the Northeast Regional Planning Body for the Oceans.

Chuckie will discuss Nantucket Sound’s rich tribal history and its significance to the Wampanoag tribes.

A live Q&A will follow the presentation.
