SUMMER! Art Lab: Silly Selfies & Beyond, a Portrait Adventure

Mon-Thu, Jul 7-10, 9-11am. Go on a portrait adventure! Students aged 8-14 will explore self-portraits in this fun and sometimes silly 4-day workshop with artist Cindy LaFlash of LaFlash of Creativity! Create amazing images of yourself using different styles, media, and materials. Everything is included and artists will leave with a portfolio of unique self-portraits. Day 1: Tim Burton-Inspired Portraits Day 2: Screaming Selfie – Abstract Expressionism with Watercolor & Straws Day 3: Torn & Reborn – Collage Portraits (students will bring a xeroxed 8.5x11 photo) Day 4: Me as a Tree – Conceptual Self-Portrait Dress to make art and have a blast! $144 Members, $160 Not-Yet-Member.
