The Zion Union Heritage Museum celebrates African-American and Cape Verdean cultures on Cape Cod. The Cape and Islands are the site of a rich history created by people of color in the region. The extraordinary contributions of people of color in the slave trade, the abolitionist movement, whaling industry, cranberry industry and more recently the Civil Rights Movement have helped shape what Cape Cod is today. The Zion Union Heritage Museum provides a rich legacy for future generations.
